Since 2015 it is a requirement that researchers in South Africa must have appropriate research ethics training and the training must be done every 3 years.

BCompliant offers a one day 10-hour course (separate from the GCP Course) on the South African Ethics in Health Research Guidelines: Principles, Processes and Structures (2024). This course fulfils the Pharma Ethics Research Ethics Committee requirements for research ethics training.

The course is offered via live, virtual training sessions on the Zoom platform. The training is not a webinar. The course is presented real time to small groups of delegates, to ensure interaction and active engagement with the other delegates and course facilitator. Delegates can ask questions and receive answers real time during the training.

Each delegate must have a computer with a camera and access to internet and email to attend the live, virtual training. Delegates are not required to have a Zoom account.

Onsite face to face trainings can be arranged upon request, for a minimum number of delegates.
